Bruss Construction, Inc. of Bradford, NH is pleased to announce that Robert Harrison of Concord, NH has joined our organization as a Commercial Project Manager. Robert has extensive experience in all phases of commercial construction including educational buildings and medical fitups. The addition of Robert will add to Bruss’ depth of management experience in these areas.

Bruss Construction is currently under contract for the new Canterbury Shaker Village project as well as an addition for the Society For Protection of NH Forests office building in Concord, NH.

Bruss Construction Incorporated has been awarded the contract for renovations to the New London branch of Mascoma Savings Bank.

The renovations will include installation of a new teller line, various handicap accessibility work, installation of replacement windows as well as new finishes throughout the customer areas. The project was designed by Banwell Architects of Lebanon, NH and is scheduled to be completed prior to the end of the year.

Bruss Construction, Inc. (BCI) of Bradford, New Hampshire announces that they have broken ground on the new $1,400,000 Canterbury Shaker Village Visitor Education Center in Canterbury, New Hampshire.

The project will feature classroom, meeting, ticketing, office and exhibit space in a recreated building designed to replicate a historic shaker building which once stood on the site. The building will give the village approximately 7800’ square feet of much needed modern year round operating space. The project was designed by TMS Associates of Portsmouth, NH

Bruss Construction, Inc. (BCI) of Bradford, New Hampshire announces that Phase I renovations and expansion to the offices of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests in Concord, New Hampshire, has been completed on schedule.

Phase I included the relocation and renovations of the Rathbun Office Building. Phase II is currently underway and includes the construction of a new 10,500 sq. ft wing. The entire renovation is scheduled to be finished in February, 2001.

Bruss Construction, Inc. announces that five of their employees have successfully completed the Construction Manager's Certificate Program Course in Communication and Scheduling as part of the firm's commitment to employee education and benefits.

Bruss Construction, Inc. announces the appointment of John Forgiel to the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer effective January 1, 2000. Forgiel brings 17 years of experience as a New Hampshire Certified Public Accountant to the firm.

Renovations to the historic Bradford Community Center were completed by Bruss Construction in time for a community New Year's Eve celebration. Originally a community school house constructed in 1937, Bruss addressed and updated the structure to meet all current codes. In accordance with the American Disabilities Act, Bruss designed and constructed complete accessibility for the disabled throughout the building.

Bruss Construction, Inc. (BCI) of Bradford, New Hampshire has been chosen as Construction Manager for a new Visitor's Center for the Canterbury Shaker Village and has begun Phase I of the renovation and relocation of offices for the Society for the Preservation of New Hampshire Forests.

Located in Concord, New Hampshire, renovations on the Society's offices involves both the relocation of an existing building and construction of a new, 10,500 sq. ft. addition. Featuring the latest in environmentally sensitive construction and high tech energy performance systems, the offices are slated for completion in early winter, 2001.

The Canterbury Shaker Village Visitor's Center is slated to break ground in mid-October, the Visitor's Center is scheduled for completion in May, 2001. John Merkle, Project Architect of TMS Architects, Portsmouth, New Hampshire is Project Architect. When finished, the Visitor's Center will have 8500 sq. ft. of exhibition, classroom and office space.
